Important Note: Scheduled email are sent at 07.30 PM PST.
If you want to make emPower send emails right away, go to the Users tab, and use the Send Email Feature.
- Visit Scheduled Emails.
- Click the Scheduled Emails sub-tab. The screen below shows the Scheduled Emails tab. All the current scheduled emails are listed here
- Click the ‘Add Scheduled Email’ tab in the top right corner
- The screen shown below is the “ADD A NEW SCHEDULED EMAIL’ tab.
- Define the email schedule:
- One time email: Emails that would be sent only once.
- Select Frequency as ‘One Time’.
- Select the date from the calendar.
- Weekly Email: Emails that are sent every week.
- Select Frequency as ‘Weekly’.
- Choose the days when the email would be repeated.
- Monthly Email: Emails that are sent once every month.
- Select Frequency as ‘Monthly’.
- Select the date from the dropdown.
- Due-date reminder: Emails to reminder users that the due-date for completing a course or attesting a policy is approaching.
- Select Frequency as ‘Due-date reminder’.
- Select how many days before the due-date this mail is to be sent.
- One time email: Emails that would be sent only once.
- In Send to, if the mail is to be sent to everyone, mark All active users, else if it is to be sent to select groups- Choose the groups from the dropdown.
- Add the ‘Send from’ email address. Select the Email Template from the dropdown.
- Note: To send custom emails – Select Custom Email.
- Add/Edit the Subject and the email.
- When done, click on Save.
