Admins with ADI enabled accounts can manage user accounts directly from their Active directory. They can edit user accounts directly at the directory level. These changes would then be pushed out to the LMS console, without you having to update the LMS.
Syncing of data between the directory and the LMS also means that any changes done at the LMS level would get overwritten by the information in your Active Directory. It means:
- Any users that are not found in your Active Directory would get archived automatically, and
- Changes done to a user profile done at the LMS level would get overwritten after a sync happens.
